These two digital images below left and below right were kindly submitted by one of German's two most important breeders of the YurloV, Mr Andreas Weiss. In speaking with him, he describes the breed as a utilitarian breed with massive body volume and good egg-laying production that have a crow of about seven to nine seconds at this date.

 

He would like to keep the utilitarian aspect of the birds but work on improving the voice quality and length. There are two forms, a single and a rosecomb, that have arrived in Europe and both lines are in diverse, non-standard and standard colours.

 

They are not Denizli, even though at first glance of these two images one might be tempted to draw this conclusion, as is seen in the bright yellow legs. Denizli are only black. Also, the Denizli is a supreme long-crower, winning almost all championships with its tremendous trumpeting call. The Yurlov lines that have arrived from Russia are not such strong trumpeters, but do have a distinctively longer-than-normal crow.
